HSBC - Online Mortgage Application Process

HSBC are creating a comprehensive online mortgage application process, one of the first of its kind in the UK. The full process would empower a user to create a new application, manage that application and later manage their mortgage alongside their HSBC bank account.

My Duties at HSBC included gathering requirements for the mortgage application process. The process was broken up into 26 different functional requirements (FR). We would build interactive prototypes (Axure) for each of the FRs using existing requirements supplied to us, these would be presented to the stakeholders at weekly workshops. During these workshops, further requirements were noted and the wireframes amended for the following workshop. This process is known as Rapid Design & Visualisation (RDV) methodology.
